It takes just 3 minutes to sign up and enrol in this NTI-Coursera eLearning course and approximately 3 hours to complete. Developing Interpersonal Skills, like all courses on the NTI and NTI-Coursera platform, is free for all citizens living in Barbados.

This course focuses on the essential skills you need to be able to successfully communicate and establish yourself in personal and professional relationships. You’ll gain skills in listening, communication, and managing conflict. You’ll also learn how to communicate with the people you work with in ways that show confidence and foster a sense of trust.

Giveaway Eligibility

  • To be entered for a chance to win the Independence hamper, you must be 13 years or older, signed up on nti.org.bb, and enroled in the “Developing Interpersonal Skills” course on the NTI-Coursera Platform before 5:00 pm on November 27, 2023. 
  • It’s easy! Just by enroling in the course, you will automatically be entered into the competition.
  • The lucky winner of the hamper will be selected randomly, and his/her name will be announced on NTI’s social media channels @ntistarrbajan on November 28, 2023. 
  • And that’s not all! For a chance to win a delicious Christmas ham, you must have enrolled and completed the 3-hour “Developing Interpersonal Skills” course before 5:00 pm on December 15, 2023. You must be 13 years or older and signed up on nti.org.bb, 
  • The winners will be randomly drawn and announced on our social media channels on December 16, 2023.
  • Winners for both giveaways will also be contacted via the email they used to sign up on NTI with instructions for collection.
  • NTI team members and their immediate families are not eligible to win any giveaways.

How will the NTI know if I’ve enroled in the course?

When you sign up on NTI, you use your name and email address. Once you enrol in the Developing Interpersonal Skills course, you’ll get an email welcoming you to the course. When you complete the course, you’ll get a downloadable certificate. Along your learning journey, our eLearner Support Team will be notified of your progress.

How are the winners chosen?

The Independence hamper winner will be chosen randomly from emails of participants enroled in the Developing Interpersonal Skills course. Christmas ham winners will be chosen randomly from the email addresses of participants who have completed the course.

If I don’t enrol by November 27, can I still have a chance to win a Christmas ham?

Yes. To have a chance to win a Christmas ham, you just have to complete the course by 5 pm on December 15, 2023. You can enrol in the course any time between November 20 and December 15, 2023; the key part is that you complete the course by 5 pm on December 15, 2023.
