Good to know

Questions, answered

Do I have to finish both courses?

No. Finish either one and you are entered. Doing both is welcome — it just will not double your entries.

How long do the courses take?

Both are short. Most learners get through one in a single sitting, which is exactly why we picked them.

Why is the Scratch course desktop only?

Scratch’s editor needs a keyboard and a mouse, so use a PC or laptop for that one. AI for Brainstorming and Planning works on a phone, tablet or computer.

Do I need a Coursera account?

You need an NTI Coursera seat, which is free. Sign up here, then open either course from this page.

What is the deadline, exactly?

Your course completion needs to be recorded by 11:59 p.m. on Friday 28 August — before AnimeKon begins.

When and where is the draw?

Live at AnimeKon on Sunday. Ten winners, drawn at random from everyone who completed a course in time.

Be in it to win it.

One short course stands between you and a straw hat.

Open to NTI Coursera learners. Your completion must be recorded by 11:59 p.m. on Friday 28 August 2026. Ten winners are drawn at random and announced live at AnimeKon on Sunday. The Scratch course needs a desktop or laptop; the AI course works on any device.
